British company FashionNet has announced its plans to promote textiles from Uzbekistan to international markets, according to Dunyo news agency. The collaboration was discussed in a meeting between Uzbek Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov and FashionNet's founder Anton Dell.
During the meeting, Anton Dell expressed FashionNet's readiness to assist Uzbek entrepreneurs in entering the local market. The company aims to support Uzbek manufacturers by training them in proper export processes, developing specialized export models, and identifying optimal supply geographies.
FashionNet will also work on aligning Uzbek textile products with international standards in terms of pricing and sizing. This initiative is expected to enhance the competitiveness of Uzbek textiles in global markets.
Uzbekistan showcased the potential of its textile industry and cotton-growing methods to the British company. In a notable step towards fostering collaboration, FashionNet was invited to participate in the ITMF Annual Conference & IAF World Fashion Convention 2024, scheduled to take place from September 8 to 10 in Samarkand.
Founded in London in 1994, FashionNet specializes in helping textile enterprises export products to developed countries' markets. The company has a strong presence in several European countries and has successfully assisted over 1,000 brands in finding sales agents in 30 countries.
