The opening goal came in the 32nd minute when defender Alibek Davronov expertly headed a cross into the penalty area, setting the stage for Uzbekistan's commanding performance. In the 49th minute, central defender Muhammadqodir Khamraliev further extended Uzbekistan's lead by sending the ball into the net after another precise cross into the penalty area. Left winger Khozhimat Erkinov added to the tally in the 55th minute with a well-executed shot, sealing Uzbekistan's control over the match.
In the 86th minute, Uzbekistan earned a penalty, which was confidently converted by Diyor Kholmatov, further cementing their dominance. The final blow came in the 90+6th minute when Khusayin Norchaev found the back of the net, securing Uzbekistan's victory with a fifth goal.
With this impressive win, Uzbekistan U-23 team secured the top spot in Group D with 6 points, guaranteeing their place in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Vietnam closely trails in second place with the same number of points (6), while Malaysia and Kuwait are yet to secure any points.
