The Turkmen Sea and River Routes Agency (Turkmendeñizderýaýollary) reports that it is negotiating with Royal IHC (Netherlands) on a project for the joint construction of dredgers.
In particular, representatives of the company visited the shipyard in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan. The guests made a detailed acquaintance with each of the shipyard's workshops and saw for themselves the high level of modern technologies and innovations of this enterprise. The delegation also visited the Lebap region.
During the meetings, the topic of dredging the bottom of inland waterways, seas and rivers of Turkmenistan was discussed. Royal IHC is a long-term partner of Turkmenistan, which currently operates more than 90 of the company's dredgers.
It was previously reported that the Turkmen delegation recently held talks in the Netherlands with representatives of Damen Shipyards Group, De Klop B.V., Dredge Yard B.V. and Dredging Service Europe. The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of dredging, including the use of modern technologies and equipment.
