Mudslides and floods are possible in some regions of Turkmenistan, in the Kopetdag Mountains and the lower reaches of the Atrek River, bordering Iran and Afghanistan, Meteojournal (Russia) reports.
Heavy rains are expected in places in the southwest of the country on April 11-12 and in the extreme southeast on April 12-13. 20-30 mm of precipitation is expected, in some places more than 30 mm.
At the same time, the most intense natural сataclysms will be felt in the Iranian province of Golestan, where up to 50-55 mm of precipitation may fall. Heavy rains will also fall over much of Afghanistan on April 12-13. The heaviest rainfall is expected in the eastern part of the country - up to 50-60 mm.
There is a high probability that the precipitation will be heavy.
