In response to the verdict issued on February 26, 2024, regarding the "Dok-1 Max" case, wherein 68 children lost their lives and 16 were left disabled, several defendants have filed appeals. The court sentenced seven individuals to imprisonment and imposed restrictions on 14 others. Additionally, one person received correctional work, and another was fined UZS 17 mn ($1,341.16). Reports from Daryo correspondents indicate that seven of the defendants expressed dissatisfaction with the verdict and filed appeals.
Among those challenging the preliminary verdict are "S.R.P.", sentenced to 20 years in prison, Sardor Kariyev, sentenced to 18 years, and their deputies - A.Azimov and N.Musayev, each sentenced to 16 years. Furthermore, Sh.Shodmanov, facing 16.6 years of imprisonment, and Sh.Abdug'aniyev and I.Mirzayoqubov, with one year of restricted freedom, are also contesting the verdict.
