Political scientist Suhrob Boronov denounced the Israeli strike, citing it as a flagrant violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic and Consular Relations. As per Boronov, diplomatic and consular institutions are considered inviolable territories of the host state, making Israel's action tantamount to an act of war against Iran.
"In our opinion, there may have been 3 motivations for Israel to act in this way," stated Boronov.
Motivations Behind the Attack
Boronov outlined three potential motivations for Israel's aggressive actions. Firstly, he highlighted the geopolitical complexities in Syria, where Iran's increasing military presence poses a challenge to Israel's strategic interests.
