Uzbekistan Airways has solidified its presence in the Asian travel market through an interline agreement with Jeju Air, a major South Korean carrier. This partnership facilitates seamless transit travel via Incheon International Airport (Seoul) to a range of destinations across Asia, Uzbekistan Airways informed on April 4.
The interline agreement enables passengers to book flights to various cities across Japan, including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Okinawa, Matsuyama, Sapporo, Oita, Shizuoka, and Hiroshima. Additionally, travelers gain access to several destinations in China such as Jiamusi, Shijiazhuang, Weihai, Harbin, Yangzhou, Yantai, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taipei, the capital of Taiwan.
In South Korea, passengers can explore cities like Jeju, Busan, Gwangju, and Suncheon. For those heading to the Philippines, Manila is among the accessible destinations.
Tickets under the Interline/SPA agreement are available for purchase at Uzbekistan Airways Sales offices.
Earlier Daryo reported that the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction in Uzbekistan aims to dispatch 100,000 Uzbek nationals to work in South Korea.
