An auction has commenced for the allocation of 10 prime development plots within the Miraki mahalla vicinity near Shakhrisabz, the Ministry of Economy reports.
Spearheaded by German ECM Group, the proposed plan encompasses a sprawling 10-hectare area earmarked for the construction of hotels, inns, health facilities, and shopping centers. Successful bidders at the auction will secure the rights to develop these properties over a ten-year period.
Infrastructure Enhancements Underway
Recent years have witnessed a concerted effort to enhance the infrastructure surrounding Shakhrisabz, laying the groundwork for sustainable growth and development in the region. Official data reveals substantial improvements, including the repair of 126 km of high-speed roads, the installation of 10 km of drinking water supply networks, the laying of 84 km of electrical networks, the installation of 16 transformers, the construction of 5.1 km of sewerage networks, and the establishment of a water treatment plant.
Presidential Approval for Tourist Center
The president of Uzbekistan has granted approval for the creation of the Shakhrisabz tourist center spanning 240 hectares. This expansive development zone is earmarked to accommodate a range of facilities, including hotels, guest houses, service establishments, and entertainment venues. The establishment of the tourist center underscores the government's commitment to promoting Shakhrisabz as a premier tourist destination and fostering sustainable growth in the region.
