Kazakhstan PM leads delegation to strengthen ties with Uzbekistan
A government delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov, paid a two-day visit to Uzbekistan on March 14-15, 2024, government portal of uzbekistan reported.
The visit aimed to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries and explore avenues for further cooperation across various sectors. On March 15, a significant meeting between the government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan took place in Tashkent, chaired by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov of Uzbekistan and Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the robust and evolving strategic partnership and alliance relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. They highlighted the importance of nurturing these relations based on principles of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual respect.
As part of their visit, the Kazakhstani delegation had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the activities of the Customs Clearance Center and the Technopark in Tashkent.
Earlier Daryo reported on March 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev convened a session with a government delegation headed by Kazakhstan's Prime Minister, Oljas Bektenov.
