The delegation of Turkmenistan, which took part in the forum Cisco Live 2024 in Amsterdam (Netherlands), held talks with the management of the American Cisco Systems.
TurkmenTelekom reports that the issues of creating data centres and their technological equipment were discussed. "The Turkmen side expressed interest in further cooperation with Cisco Systems," which is the world's largest company in the field of information technology, digitalisation and cybersecurity.
Experts told Daryo that Turkmenistan has adopted a state programme to ensure cyber security.
The country has also adopted a Law "to protect the sovereignty and interests of the country, prevent threats to network security and ensure public order". A Memorandum of Understanding in this field was signed last year by the competent services of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
