The Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) says that to increase exports to Central Asia, an exhibition will be held in Turkmenistan in less than a month.
"The purpose of this exhibition is to display Afghan products," said Jan Aqa Navid, the spokesperson of the ACCI, as quoted by ToloNews.
Electricity, oil and gas are among Turkmenistan's main exports to Afghanistan, while Afghanistan mainly supplies Turkmenistan with marble, dried fruits and potatoes.
Turgundi in Herat Province and Aqina in Farab have become the main trading points between the two countries.
Last year, Afghanistan imported about $1.4bn worth of goods from the Central Asian countries, while it exported $100mn worth of products.
Overall, India, Pakistan, China and the United Arab Emirates accounted for the largest volume of Afghan exports.
