Kaspersky Lab, an international cybersecurity company, and Universoft IT, a key player in Uzbekistan's high-tech sector, have joined forces to elevate the level of cybersecurity in Uzbekistan, the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan reported.
Universoft IT is set to unveil the first-ever locally developed antivirus solution in Uzbekistan, with the invaluable support of Kaspersky Lab. The partnership will see Universoft IT present its security solution under the brand name "Uzguard AV," a product grounded in Kaspersky Lab's cutting-edge technologies. Uzguard AV will undergo rigorous certification processes, ensuring full compliance with the national standards of Uzbekistan.
Valeriy Zubanov, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab in Central Asia and Mongolia, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating;
“We are pleased to cooperate with a recognized player in cybersecurity – Universoft IT. Uniting our efforts will allow us to create innovative and effective solutions that are in demand and recognized in Uzbekistan. This partnership emphasizes the country’s strategic importance for our company in Central Asia.”
