    XPENG AEROHT debuts 'Land Aircraft Carrier' and eVTOL flying car at CES 2024, redefining personal aviation

    XPENG AEROHT debuts 'Land Aircraft Carrier' and eVTOL flying car at CES 2024, redefining personal aviation

    XPENG AEROHT, the largest flying car company in Asia, has unveiled its groundbreaking 'Land Aircraft Carrier,' marking a significant leap forward in the era of personal aviation. The modular flying car is set to be available for pre-order in the fourth quarter of 2024, with individual deliveries scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2025. The company made this announcement at the prestigious Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas, Daryo's correspondent attending the event reporeted.

    The 'Land Aircraft Carrier' stands out with its two-part design, seamlessly transitioning between terrestrial and aerial modes. The air module facilitates vertical takeoff for low-altitude flights, while the ground module envelops the air module, enabling ground transportation. This innovation aims to elevate the user's travel experience from the ground to the sky, with applications extending beyond personal use to potential use in public services such as emergency rescue.

    XPENG AEROHT, an affiliate of XPENG MOTORS, showcased its latest eVTOL flying car alongside the 'Land Aircraft Carrier' at CES 2024. The eVTOL flying car made its international debut, wowing attendees with a live demonstration of its effortless transition from land to flight mode. CES serves as the ideal platform for introducing these cutting-edge vehicles to a global audience, emphasizing XPENG AEROHT's commitment to transforming flying cars from concept to reality.

    In terrestrial mode, the vehicle smoothly retracts its airborne features, presenting an impressive appearance suitable for on-road use. Upon transitioning to flight mode, it extends its wings, enabling vertical takeoff and landing. This capability facilitates easy maneuvering through congested areas and obstacles when conditions allow, effectively meeting the demand for short-distance, low-altitude travel.

    In the year 2022, XPENG AEROHT achieved a successful test flight of a prototype weighing approximately 2 tons. The eVTOL flying car is designed for future three-dimensional transportation, and the company plans to move into mass production as related policies, regulations, and application scenarios mature.

    Dr. Brian Hongdi GU, Vice Chairman and President of XPENG MOTORS, expressed excitement about the company's role in revolutionizing mobility, stating;

    "The future of mobility goes beyond cars. Whether people want to travel by cars, air, or other ways, we aspire to change what's possible."

    "In 2013, we started AEROHT, dreaming of flying cars. Fast forward to 2024, and that dream has become a reality. Today, we're thrilled to unveil our two latest innovations which will take everyday folks from driving on roads to soaring through the sky. The future is here today, and the whole world is ready to fly!," Tan WANG, co-founder of XPENG AEROHT, shared the company's journey.

    The 'Land Aircraft Carrier' features a futuristic design with a cyber-mechanical aesthetic, accommodating 4-5 passengers in its ground module. The air module, a fully electric piloted aircraft, supports both manual and automatic driving modes and boasts a 270° panoramic two-person cockpit for an immersive flying experience.

    Visitors to CES 2024 were also treated to a live demonstration of the XPENG AEROHT eVTOL flying supercar. This vehicle seamlessly transitions from land to flight mode, providing a unique blend of design and technology that offers the look, feel, and driving experience of a supercar.

    XPENG AEROHT's booth at CES 2024, located at LVCC West Hall-3916, invites the public to witness daily transformation demonstrations of the XPENG AEROHT eVTOL flying supercar as it transitions from ground to flight mode throughout the show from January 9 to January 12, 2024.
