Uzbekistan is actively pursuing the enhancement of a healthy lifestyle among its population, drawing inspiration from Indonesia's experience, as reported by Dunyo Information Agency.
During discussions, the Indonesian delegation was briefed on the initiatives of the Association of Healthy Lifestyles and Fitness of Uzbekistan. The newly established association's primary objective is to reinforce a healthy lifestyle, widely advocate the principles of nutritious eating, and cultivate physical well-being across citizens of all age groups.
Dialogues also centred on fostering collaboration between the Association of Healthy Lifestyle and Fitness of Uzbekistan and the Association of Indonesian Fitness Trainers. Emphasis was placed on joint program development, the establishment of certification systems to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle, the creation of educational materials, the exchange of coaching expertise, and collaborative efforts in organizing seminars, master classes, and training sessions.
After the meeting, an agreement was reached to facilitate a working visit by representatives from the Indonesian association to Uzbekistan, aiming to establish bilateral cooperation.
In a related development, it has been disclosed that a daily reminder of a healthy lifestyle will be integrated into the lives of Uzbek citizens. Utilizing SMS messages, cell phone users will receive information on the fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle, in line with the presidential decree introducing the "Public Health 2030" strategy.
As part of this strategy, plans include the production of up to 25 promotional videos, programs, and TV shows annually, dedicated to instilling a healthy lifestyle. Radio consultations on the subject will be made available, and informational booklets will be distributed across various public spaces such as markets, planes, trains, buses, subways, supermarkets, and other frequented locations.
The outreach will extend to daily SMS messages providing insights on disease prevention and the essentials of a healthy lifestyle for cell phone users.
