Baghdad played host to the inaugural round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Iraq, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported. The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad, saw the Uzbekistani delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhromjon Aloyev and the Iraqi delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammed Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom.
The discussions, spanning a wide array of sectors, emphasized the commitment of both nations to bolstering their bilateral relations.
