The delegation, led by the Minister of Investment and CEO of the "ADQ" holding, Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, engaged in crucial discussions aimed at enhancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two nations, the president's press service reports.
Accompanying Minister Alsuwaidi were key figures from leading UAE companies, including Jasim Husayn Tabet, the head of "TAQA," and Muhammad Jamil Al-Ramahi, the head of "Masdar." The meeting, which took place in Dubai, focused on strategies to support and promote joint projects that align with the priorities of both nations.
President Mirziyoyev expressed his satisfaction with the rapid development of the partnership, particularly in crucial sectors of the economy. Notably, the energy sector has emerged as a key area of cooperation, with the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with the "Masdar" company during the visit.
The agreement reflects the commitment of both Uzbekistan and the UAE to expanding collaboration in the energy sector, which is expected to yield mutual benefits and contribute to the sustainable development of both nations.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to fostering relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE, President Mirziyoyev awarded the highest state honor of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the "Dostlik" order (Order of Friendship), to Muhammad Jamil Al-Ramahi, the CEO of "Masdar." The prestigious award signifies appreciation for Al-Ramahi's personal dedication to advancing multifaceted ties between the two countries.
