The Freedom Front of Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for an explosion that targeted the Taliban on Airport Road. The incident occurred in the ninth security district of Kabul.
The Freedom Front announced via a newsletter on November 27, stating that their orchestrated attack resulted in the demise of two Taliban fighters and left two others injured. The exact nature of the explosion, however, remains undisclosed by the Freedom Front.
The Taliban, on their part, have yet to confirm the casualties as reported by the Freedom Front.
This incident marks one of the six attacks on the Taliban that the Freedom Front has claimed responsibility for over the past three days, with the attacks spanning across the provinces of Parwan, Kapisa, Kabul, and Laghman.
The Taliban have only acknowledged one of these attacks. They reported an incident involving unidentified individuals who threw a hand grenade into a water reservoir belonging to their forces, causing a non-lethal incident.
