Uzbekistan and Albayrak Holding boost economic ties with focus on digitalization

Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, convened a crucial meeting on November 10 with Erdal Nalbant, the Coordinator of the esteemed Turkish company, Albayrak Holding. During the meeting, the parties delved into the transformative potential of joint initiatives, aligning with the broader objectives of Uzbekistan's ongoing economic reforms. The Uzbek Minister and the Albayrak Holding Coordinator particularly emphasized the exploration of new projects that would contribute to the digital transformation of industries, the construction of vital infrastructure facilities, and advancements in the field of machine-building.

The Coordinator of Albayrak Holding expressed profound appreciation for the reformative measures undertaken by Uzbekistan, citing the favorable investment environment created by the country. This positive sentiment, he noted, bolsters confidence in the investment landscape, attracts foreign direct investments, fosters technological innovation, and stimulates the establishment of new joint ventures, ultimately contributing to job creation.

The meeting also spotlighted the successful ongoing collaboration between Uzbekistan and Albayrak Holding, acknowledging the company's unique role as a guiding light for Turkish investment and industrial circles seeking strategic opportunities in the Central Asian region.

Particular attention was given to the progress of the "Installation of automated photo and video devices for the detection of traffic violations" project in Uzbekistan's cities. The parties underscored the importance of expeditious measures to ensure the timely launch of the system, demonstrating a shared commitment to the successful implementation of mutual projects.

Amidst a constructive exchange of ideas, the participants developed practical measures aimed at accelerating project implementation. Clear timelines were established for initiating work on new agreements, reflecting the commitment of both Uzbekistan and Albayrak Holding to proactive and fruitful collaboration.

Albayrak Holding, founded in 1952, stands as a formidable conglomerate with 127 companies under its umbrella and a workforce exceeding 15,000 employees. The company's diverse portfolio spans agriculture, waste processing, paper production, transport and logistics, machine building, infrastructural development, and more.
