    President of Kazakhstan meets 'Kazak Tili' society to advance nation's language policy

    The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, held a meeting with the President of the "Kazak Tili" society, Rauan Kenzhekhanuly, to address crucial aspects of the country's language policy. The meeting took place at a time when the preservation and development of the Kazakh language had become a top priority for the state.

    During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various issues related to the enhancement of language policy in Kazakhstan. President Tokayev reaffirmed the government's unwavering commitment to furthering the development of the Kazakh language as a fundamental aspect of state policy. He expressed his belief that particular emphasis should be placed on practical efforts to broaden the application of the Kazakh language across various sectors, including education, technology, and media.

    One of the central points of discussion was the need to increase the presence of Kazakh language content and digital products. President Tokayev stressed the importance of creating children's animated films, expanding the production of films and scientific literature, and establishing educational channels on social media platforms. The President also underscored the gradual transition of global digital platforms into the Kazakh language and the modernization of domestic information systems dedicated to language learning.

    Furthermore, President Tokayev emphasized the significance of strengthening reading and writing literacy across various age groups, especially among the youth. This approach is seen as a crucial means of preserving the purity and integrity of the Kazakh language.

    During the meeting, President Tokayev called upon the "Kazak Tili" society to play a pivotal role in transforming the Kazakh language into the language of science and technology. He also suggested adopting international practices by utilizing endowment funds to bolster the activities of the society. The President assured his personal support for such endeavors.

    In response, Rauan Kenzhekhanuly, the president of the "Kazak Tili" society, shared details of ongoing projects and future plans to promote and preserve the Kazakh language. The "Kazak Tili" society has been actively working to safeguard and promote the language through various initiatives and programs, and it will continue to do so with renewed vigor.
