According to representatives from the online service hh.uz, in Uzbekistan, compared to the same period in 2022, the number of job vacancies has surged by more than 50%. This increase is most notable in sectors such as sales, IT, and logistics.
Furthermore, due to heightened demand among employers for skilled professionals, there has been a 34% rise in the average salary, reaching UZS 5.5mn ($451) and a 22% increase in the median salary, reaching 4mn ($328). The most substantial salary growth has been observed in the fields of education and the arts.
Based on research findings, the highest-paying positions during the past summer were:
- Front-end Developer, offering a salary of up to $3,000.
- Construction Project Engineer, offering a salary ranging from UZS 13,000,000 ($1067) to UZS 18,000,000 ($1478).
- Financial Manager, offering a salary of $1,000 to $1,500.
- Digital Marketer, offering a salary of $800 to $1,500.
- Health, Safety, and Environment Engineer, offering a salary starting from UZS 9,000,000 ($735).
- Graphic Designer, offering a salary starting from UZS 8,000,000 ($653).
