Ukraine's Ambassador in Tashkent, Nikolai Doroshenko, has reported that Ukrainian children have received humanitarian aid from benefactors in Uzbekistan.
The aid, consisting of warm clothing and 2,000 school starter kits, arrived as a beacon of hope, reported Ukraine's Ambassador to Tashkent, Nikolai Doroshenko.
Each school kit contains essential supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, art materials, and stationery items. This generous assistance was delivered by Lyubomyr Bashynskyi, the head of the International Society of Ukrainian-Uzbek Friendship.
This initiative marks the second wave of humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan. The first shipment, which included 10.5 tons of clothing, footwear, and medical supplies, reached Ukraine on August 18. Remarkably, the benefactors behind these efforts have chosen to remain anonymous.
The school kits have been distributed to orphaned children and youngsters displaced from regions including Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhia, providing them with much-needed resources for their education.
Ukraine's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Nikolai Doroshenko, expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing the enduring bonds of friendship between the two nations.
