Non-governmental and non-profit organizations, along with business entities in Uzbekistan, have dispatched a substantial 10.5 tons of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. Ukrainian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Mykola Doroshenko, shared this heartening development on his Facebook page.
The humanitarian aid has already been delivered to the administration of the Drogobitsky district within the Lviv region, along with the Department of Social Policy and the Council for Special Medical Aid of the same region. The aid package encompasses a diverse range of items, including winter footwear, sportswear, and clothing for children and women, with an approximate value of $21,282 (approximately 785,844 hryvnias).
Additionally, essential medical supplies like syringes, medical cotton, and infusion systems, worth a combined total of $4,273 (about 157,771 hryvnias), were included in the shipment.
The Ukrainian Ambassador expressed his wholehearted appreciation to the contributors of this impactful humanitarian initiative.
