The State Technical Service of Kazakhstan has alerted the public about a phishing website that launches the harmful program "Trojan-Downloader." This program installs malware called Venom RAT v6.0.1 on the user's computer, which can steal data, access the webcam, and allow attackers to control the computer remotely. The malware enters the computer disguised as an NCALayer update when the user attempts to request a public service.
The Guest Service strongly advises against downloading or installing such programs or following suspicious links. The National Computer Emergency Response Service KZ CERT has informed the foreign domain name registrar to take necessary actions. State bodies and information security operational centers have also been notified through an internal platform for information exchange.
