The Uzbekistan community residing in the United Arab Emirates has come together to collect humanitarian aid for their home country, Dunyo reports.
The aid package comprises 414 clothing items for children aged three and under, with a total value exceeding $14,000.
The cargo will be transported to Tashkent at no cost. The National Social Protection Agency will distribute the aid to those in need.
The President of Uzbekistan's decree mandated the establishment of the National Social Protection Agency on June 1, 2023. The agency aims to ensure the delivery of high-quality social services and assistance to the population and implement an effective control system.
