A passenger bus crashed in central Türkiye while traveling from Sivas to Istanbul.
The accident resulted in the death of 12 people and injuries to 19 others.
The bus lost control in Yozgat district, crossed the opposite lane, and collided with a 30-meter palisade.
Ambulances transported the wounded to Sorgun state hospital, according to A Haber.
According to Sabah, from January to April, 782 people died and 62,765 were injured in 159,132 traffic accidents in Türkiye. Reckless driving is the main cause of accidents despite government safety campaigns.
