The diplomatic relationship between Uzbekistan and Hungary continues to strengthen, transcending the geographical distance that spans over 4000 kilometers. An emblematic illustration of this deepening connection is the recent inauguration of direct flights between the capitals of the two nations, scheduled to commence on August 20, Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.
Dignitary delegation's arrival
Accompanying the inaugural flight from Tashkent to Budapest was a distinguished delegation from Uzbekistan's Aviation Administration. This delegation, comprising representatives from the aviation sector, embarked on this historic journey to symbolize the shared commitment to facilitating seamless air travel between the two nations.
The first flight was received with a warm and ceremonious welcome at Budapest's Ferenc Liszt International Airport. It is worth noting that regular flights between Tashkent and Budapest will be executed on a weekly basis by the "Qanot Sharq" airline company. The Airbus A-320 aircraft will serve these flights, ensuring passenger comfort, safety, and efficiency throughout the journey.
