The airline is set to commence flights on this route starting from August 20, utilizing the "Airbus A320" aircraft for the operations.
Established in 1998, "Qanot Sharq" holds the distinction of being the first private airline in Uzbekistan. Additionally, the airline has plans to introduce direct charter flights between Tashkent and the Cypriot city of Larnaca, scheduled to operate on a weekly basis on Saturdays until the end of September. There is a possibility of extending these flights into October.
This development aligns with the growing trend of expanding air connectivity in the region, with Batik Air of Indonesia also set to launch flights from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent.
