Kyrgyzstan and Germany have engaged in discussions regarding the construction of small hydropower plants, aiming to enhance cooperation in the development of renewable energy sources, 24.kg reports on July 18. During the discussions, a Bavarian company displayed significant interest in the construction projects of small hydroelectric power plants and their implementation. In response, Kyrgyz entrepreneurs presented a comprehensive plan for the construction of a 6-megawatt small hydroelectric power station in the Chui region.
The Bavarian businessmen expressed their willingness to share their expertise, technical knowledge, and best practices in this sector. The representatives from both Kyrgyzstan and Germany expressed confidence that such cooperation would contribute to the development of renewable energy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
