President Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with Ambassador Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the head of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
The discussions revolved around a range of bilateral cooperation matters of mutual interest. President Japarov emphasized the significance of strengthening and further developing the bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the substantial potential for expanded trade and economic ties.
He expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia's support in implementing socio-economic projects in Kyrgyzstan through the Saudi Development Fund. President Japarov also acknowledged the ongoing cooperation in the tourism sector, specifically the upcoming launch of direct regular flights between the two countries.
Ambassador Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi praised the continued interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia, attributing it to a reliable partnership and friendship fostered by the strong political will and trust of the leaders of both nations. During the meeting, the Ambassador presented President Japarov with a message from the King of Saudi Arabia, extending an invitation for his participation in the upcoming summit of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf and Central Asia, which is scheduled to take place on July 19 in Jeddah.
