The Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships are being held in Singapore from June of 10 to June 18. Uzbekistan's national team won another medal as a result of these efforts, reports OlympicUZ.
Abdulaziz Mirvaliev won a silver medal in the vault final program with a score of 14.083 points on June 18. Winners' list:
- Carlos Yulo (Philippines) won the gold medal with 14.299 points;
- Abdulaziz Mirvaliev (Uzbekistan) won the silver medal with 14.083 points;
- Jaeho Kim (South Korea) won the bronze medal with 13.766 points.
The day before on June 17, it was announced that Oksana Chusovitina took second place in the women's competition.
Athletes who wish to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics must first compete in the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in order to secure a spot at the World Championships in Belgium.
