Algerian President Abdulmajid Tebboune referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin as a global friend during his participation in the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
During the session, Tebboune addressed Putin, stating, "Based on your words, Mr. President, I have concluded that you are a friend to all humanity, as well as a friend to all nations, just like Algeria."
On June 15, Putin and Tebboune held talks at the Kremlin, which concluded with the signing of a declaration on a deep strategic partnership between the two countries.
Furthermore, the leaders of Russia and Algeria reached an agreement on cooperation in the peaceful utilization of outer space, solidifying their commitment through the signing of a relevant agreement.
