Temporary Power Outages in Tashkent Districts: Updates from Electric Networks

Temporary Power Outages in Tashkent Districts: Updates from Electric Networks

Partial electricity supply disruptions were experienced in residential areas of Yashnabad, Bektemir, and Chilonzor districts in Tashkent until 6:00 PM on June 8, as reported by the Tashkent city branch of "Regional Electric Networks."

To ensure high-quality and reliable electricity supply to consumers, prevent potential emergencies, and modernize low-voltage power transmission networks in the regions, step-by-step work is being carried out based on state programs established by the district electricity supply company.

As a result of these ongoing activities, temporary power outages have occurred in residential homes in the following areas:

    - Bektemir district: Marifat and Hurriyat streets of "Iyk ota" MFY, and Oltintopgan streets of "Oltintopgan" MFY.
    - Yashnabad district: Baku, Boysun, G'iduvon, Hovot, Marv, M. Ashrafiy, Tuzel 1st district, Sialkova, Tovkantepa, Bahar, Yangihayot, P. Mahmud, Makhmur, College of Tourism, Parkent, Altintepa, S. Azimova, To in residential apartments in the area of Ytepa, Istiqbol, Darkhan, Ilgor shox, "Mirishkor" MFY, and Kashkadarya streets.
    - Chilonzor district: Nurkhan, Afshona, and Koshchinor streets.

Furthermore, an emergency power outage occurred due to damage to the 35-kilowatt high-voltage cable network at the "Koqon" substation, affecting a portion of consumers in Mirabad and Yakkasaray districts.

Special operative brigades from the Tashkent city branch of JSC "Local Electric Networks" are actively working to rectify the malfunction at the substation.

The Tashkent city branch of JSC "Ukrainian Electric Networks" apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the temporary electricity interruptions due to repair works in these areas.

On June 1, the Ministry of Energy provided an explanation regarding power supply interruptions in some valley regions. Strong winds blowing at a speed of 24 meters per second caused disruptions in power supply in certain areas. As a safety measure, specific electric networks in Namangan, Fergana, and Andijan regions were temporarily disconnected from the network.
