Jewels from Uzbekistan have been invited to participate in the upcoming international exhibition "NEBU III" in Cairo from November 18-20, Dunyo reports. This was announced in the meeting between the head of the Department of Gold and Jewelry of the Association of Chambers of Commerce of Egypt, Hani Milad Heyd, and industry representatives from Uzbekistan.
The event will showcase products from over 7,500 participants and 250 companies from various countries, including Egypt, UAE, Türkiye, Lebanon, Italy, China, Thailand, and India.
Besides, the talks focused on training and education in Egypt to enhance the skillset of the jewelry industry in Uzbekistan. Both parties agreed to facilitate mutual visits of industry representatives to foster knowledge exchange and promote further development and cooperation. An online meeting between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Egyptian Association of Chambers of Commerce is scheduled to deliberate on these matters.
Egypt's jewelry industry has seen significant growth over the past two decades, largely attributed to the utilization of modern tools and equipment from Türkiye and Italy.
