Chinese President Xi Jinping said his country was ready to lend money to the Central Asian states at the "China-Central Asia" summit in Xi'an.
"China will provide 26 billion yuan ($3.7 bn) of financial aid to Central Asian countries in order to support their cooperation and development," Xi Jinping said.
The politician said that China will draw up a plan for scientific and technical cooperation with Central Asia in poverty reduction, as well as encourage Chinese companies to create more jobs in the region.
On May 18-19, the "China-Central Asia" summit was held in the Chinese city of Xi'an under the chairmanship of Xi Jinping where the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan met to bolster economic ties with PRC.
