As a humanitarian aid, the Lithuanian government has provided vaccines against coronavirus infection for the residents of the Khojaly district.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Riga, 608,000 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech and 78,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines were given as part of the campaign.
The estimated value of the aid burden is €13mn. In addition, on May 14, vaccines will be delivered free of charge to Uzbekistan on board the plane of Lithuanian Airlines.
