The presidential decision "On measures to effectively organize the activities of the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of administrative reforms" envisions the reorganization of the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Agency has the status of an executive power body of the republic and is accountable to the President and the Cabinet of Ministers.
The organization constantly monitors the implementation of the requirements and rules of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in Uzbekistan, represents the rights and interests of athletes, coaches, and other specialists, and takes protective measures.
The Agency determines the procedures for managing the results of doping control and takes disciplinary measures on cases of doping in sports detected by organizing the activities of commissions within its structure.
Also, according to the decision:
The athlete's biological passport (ABP) for doping tests and control, collecting and storing information is digitalized;
An anti-doping educational electronic platform is created;
A national platform for testing banned substances in sports is gradually implemented.
