Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 8 met with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to discuss measures to boost the bilateral relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, with particular attention drawn to expanding multifaceted practical cooperation in priority areas.
Preliminary, the two countries’ presidents congratulated each other on the 78th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, extending their warm wishes to the veterans and friendly nations worldwide.
President Vladimir Putin congratulated President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on successfully holding the nationwide constitutional referendum.
The two sides emphasized the importance of supporting cooperation projects between leading companies of their respective countries. Furthermore, they highly assessed the results of the “Innoprom” International Industrial Exhibition held last month.
