The annual CREATE 4 festival of creative industries was held in Bishkek, 24.kg reports referring to the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the festival, a press conference was held, which was attended by Deputy Minister Ainura Usenbekova. She stated that investing in advanced technologies and innovative production based on science is currently profitable.
The "Knowledge Economy - Creative Economy" is considered one of the most promising areas for development. In 2022, Kyrgyzstan signed the Law "On the Park of Creative Industries" and started implementing the Concept for the Development of the Creative Economy.
This legislative recognition of the creative economy as an independent sector of the economy will allow Kyrgyzstan to compete on equal terms with large developed countries and develop competitive technological and creative solutions. The deputy minister also mentioned that the Park of Creative Industries has a special tax regime with low tax rates and other social preferences.
