The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that the Republic of Korea is prepared to assist in constructing a smart city in Issyk-Kul, Daryo correspondent reports citing the governmental department.
A Korean delegation, headed by the Vice President of KIND State Corporation, held final consultations on the master plan and discussed the preliminary feasibility study of the Smart City Issyk-Kul in the Central Asian country.
The project aims to ensure the transition to a green economy, reach carbon neutrality, and utilize the latest IT technologies to develop urban infrastructure.
The Vice Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanat Abdrakhmanov, emphasized the necessity for further promotion of the project and attracting funding for its implementation.
