Kazakhstan's Economic Demonopolization Commission considered the dissolution of one of the country's major oil and gas companies illegal.
According to the press service of Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, the audit revealed that the company's assets were transferred to private ownership at a lower estimated cost, Daryo correspondent reports citing media.
The name of an infringing company privatized years ago was not yet disclosed.
Alikhan Smailov instructed the authorized state bodies to resolve this issue within the framework of the current legislation.
