The largest amounts of money were allocated to Almaty, the Turkestan region and Astana, Daryo correspondent in Kazakhstan reports with reference to KazTAG.
According to the source, in Almaty in 2023, the total cost will be about $2,7bn. Some $2,5bn will be allocated to the Turkestan region, and roughly $1,6bn to Astana.
Ulytau region is set to receive the least amount of funds - around $247mn.
The most money per resident is expected to be spent in the Atyrau region (about $1,597), North Kazakhstan (around $1,426), and Akmola region (some $1,364). The Karaganda region placed last on the list at $892 per person.
