The Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan is undergoing a fresh round of leadership changes, with several prominent figures stepping into new roles under a decree issued by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The reshuffle, announced by presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov, includes key appointments across personnel, economic, legal, and foreign policy departments.

Former Minister of Internal Affairs Polat Bobojonov has been appointed Deputy Presidential Advisor on Personnel Policy. In connection with this new role, he has been relieved of his previous post as First Deputy Presidential Advisor on Personnel Policy.
Meanwhile, Abdusalom Azizov, former Chairman of the State Security Service, has been named Deputy Advisor to the President on Representative Bodies, Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations, Religion and Youth Issues. He previously served as Deputy Advisor to the President on Socio-Political, Religious-Enlightenment and Youth Issues.
Other notable appointments include:
- Galina Saidova as Deputy Presidential Adviser on Economic Policy, previously holding a similar role overseeing economic development, investment, and foreign trade.
- Obid Khakimov as Deputy Presidential Advisor on Economic Policy and Director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms. He was relieved of his earlier position overseeing economic development policy implementation.
- Muzaffar Kamilov and Rustam Kamilov were also appointed Deputy Advisors on matters related to representative bodies, NGOs, religion, and youth.
- Javlon Vakhobov was appointed Deputy Presidential Advisor on Foreign Policy and Director of the Central Asian International Institute.
- Bakhodir Toshmatov became Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President, moving from his previous role in the Armed Forces Development Council.
Earlier appointments included Nozimakhon Davletova as a contractual consultant to the Head of the Presidential Administration and Head of the Human Capital Development Project Office. In the Department for Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis, Kamoliddin Mardonov was named First Deputy Head.
Additional appointments in the department include Ulugbek Khanayev as Deputy Head – Chief Legal Adviser, and Eldor Hamroyev as Deputy Head. In the Department for Public Security and Rule of Law, Aziz Azimov was appointed First Deputy Head, while Sergey Gordeyev was named Deputy Head.
