On March 29, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held a meeting with the Party Secretary of Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region Ma Sinjui in Tashkent.
The politicians noted that China was a reliable, time-tested strategic partner of Uzbekistan. And Uzbekistan always supports the "one China policy" fighting against the "three evil forces" - terrorism, extremism and separatism.
At the end of the dialogue, Abdulla Aripov and Ma Sinjui signed an agreement on mutual cooperation between the Tashkent region and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
China is one of the largest trade and investment partners of Uzbekistan. According to the results of last year, the mutual trade turnover between the two countries for the first time amounted to almost 9 billion dollars.
