A man got stuck between the train tracks and died as a result of a severed head in the Ellikkal'a district of Karakalpakstan. According to the Transport Prosecutor's Office, the deceased was 44 years old.
"It was found that on March 24 of this year at 16:00, the passenger train No. 053 on the Kungirot-Tashkent route ran over the citizen H.Sh., born in 1979, at the 5th barrier of the 552nd kilometer between the Ellikkala-Tortkol stations due to carelessness. As a result of the injuries, the citizen died on the spot," officials said.
Earlier, it was reported that a woman died after being run over by a freight train in the Bukhara region, a woman was cut in two by the train tracks in Namangan, and a 2.5-year-old boy died under the train in Kashkadarya.
