ChatGPT shares its views on constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan

ChatGPT shares its views on constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan

The ChatGPT chatbot, launched by the OpenAI company, answered some questions about the recent constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan, Daryo correspondent reports.

Why are constitutional reforms necessary in Uzbekistan?

Constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan are carried out to ensure the democratic development of the country and adopt laws and decisions compatible with the requirements of the new era. These reforms are implemented to ensure the further reform of the government system, strengthen human rights and freedoms, solve legal problems, and ensure the country's economic development. Part of Shavkat Mirziyoyev's policy was to hold a referendum on the draft law on the Constitution, which showed that implementing constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan is necessary for the country's democratic development.

At the same time, artificial intelligence evaluated the activities of Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the presidency:

Shavkat Mirziyoyev was elected to the post of President of Uzbekistan in 2016, and since then, he has carried out several reforms to modernize the country's economy and political system. In particular, the administrative barriers for business were reduced, the process of obtaining a visa was simplified, and the tourist flow was developed. Laws on freedom of speech and information were also adopted, and political parties were established.

According to ChatGPT, as the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev introduced several reforms to develop further the politics and economy of the republic, including the allocation of additional funds for the further development of the higher education system, further strengthening of the quality service system, diversification of the economy, and boosting of the tourism sector, etc.

On March 14, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis approved the decision to hold a referendum on the new draft of the Constitution. As a result, the draft law was published in the March 15 issue of "Xalq soʻzi" and "Narodnoye slovo" newspapers. The bill consists of 6 sections and 155 articles. The Constitutional Law shall enter into force on the day of the official announcement of the referendum results by the Central Election Commission.
