Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban as part of the main events of the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States on March 16, President's press service reports.
According to the reports, at the beginning of the meeting, the head of state warmly congratulated the prime minister and friend nation of Hungary on their national holiday - the day of the Hungarian revolution.
Both sides noted with great pleasure that bilateral strategic partnership relations and multilateral cooperation are rapidly developing.
"Issues of support and acceleration of joint investment projects involving the leading companies of our countries were considered. Special attention was paid to the establishment of direct flights between countries and creating a platform for effective cooperation of Uzbek and Hungarian enterprises," the report said.
Views on current issues on the international agenda were also exchanged.
