Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited the victims of a series of earthquakes in Turkey - the elderly and young people, especially - to visit Uzbekistan.
“Uzbekistan will create all conditions for the elderly people of Turkey so that they can improve their health and relax,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during his speech at the OTS summit.
According to him, trips will also be organized to places of worship associated with the names of great ancestors - Imam Bukhari, Imam Termezi, Imam Maturidi, and Bahauddin Naqshband.
“It would be good if the Council of elders of our Organization took upon itself the formation of such groups,” the president said.
In addition, the head of state invited young people from Hatay province to visit Uzbekistan in the summer, organize meaningful leisure activities and excursions to the ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, as well as joint events with peers from the country.
“We will never forget the tens of thousands of people who died as a result of this terrible disaster,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
