The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kyiv organized a meeting with Rajiv Gupta and Sheikh Imran, the heads of the company "Kusum Farm", which produces large pharmaceutical products, in order to develop mutual cooperation with Ukraine in the field of pharmaceuticals, "Dunyo" news agency informs.
During the conversation with the management of the company, the issues related to making additional investments in Uzbekistan and the implementation of European standards in the plant under construction, as well as the delivery of high-quality medicines produced in Ukraine for the needs of the population of Uzbekistan, were discussed in detail.
"Kusum" group of companies has invested more than $5 mln in Uzbekistan and is building a factory for the production of medicines based on GMP standards.
This Ukrainian company is part of the "Kusum" group of companies, which is engaged in the production of medicines based on European standards in the Sumy region of Ukraine.
This group of companies has three production plants in India, one in Ukraine, and two R&D centers. More than two thousand highly qualified employees work in it.
