The chairman of the Air Cairo airline Hussein Sherif told about the possibility of increasing the number of flights between Uzbekistan and Egypt.
The Egyptian side expressed its readiness to launch regular flights between Cairo and Tashkent soon. The head of the airline also announced that the company intends to increase the number of flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh to 14 per week, along with other destinations.
The Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade reports that the working group of Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with the heads of major Egyptian ministries and aviation departments in Cairo on February 19 and discussed the issues of expanding bilateral cooperation.
