Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, on Wednesday (March 1), held a meeting with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who arrived in Tashkent on Tuesday (February 28) after participating in the C5+1 Ministerial Meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan, Daryo reports.

In his welcoming speech, Acting Foreign Minister Baktiyor Saidov stressed that on February 19 this year, the two countries marked 31 years of establishing diplomatic ties. Besides, Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent is set to host the third session of Strategic Partnership Dialogue this year, the platform based on mutual trust and openness.
In his remark, US Secretary of State Antony Blinked expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and appreciated the dynamic relationships between Uzbekistan and the United States of America, including in the framework of C5+1.
